If posible you may want to compare dental insurance through work if you can. Most employers who offer dental insurance pay half or more of the premium cost, and most plans fully cover exams, X-rays, and cleanings, 80 percent of basic procedures such as fillings, and 50 percent of major work such as crowns. Still be careful in comparing dental insurance though work and what you may buy as an indiviual on your own. Cost may be less but make sure to compare coverages/benitfits as well to make sure you are getting the best option.
